Adventures on the Aeolian Islands
The Aeolian Islands off the Northern coast of Sicily have all been formed by the ongoing volcanic activity in that area and your trip will take you to the islands of Lipari, Vulcano and Stromboli, where you will learn more about the formation of the area to see and feel the ongoing activity first hand! Take a hike along the rugged landscape of the islands, swim and snorkel in the warm waters on Vulcano and watch the lava erupt from the always active Stromboli island on a late evening cruise!
Discover Taormina
The charming town of Taormina has attracted visitors since the 19th century and it has been a popular holiday resort ever since. Taormina is picturesquely located on the top of a cliff, overlooking the Mediterranean sea and large parts of Eastern Sicily and Mount Etna. You will have free time to venture through the lively cobbled streets of the old town with its many cafes, bars and restaurants, visit the ancient Greek theatre and relax on the beach at the foot of the cliffs. The bay around the beautiful Isola Bella is best explored on a sea kayaking adventure.
