About the tour
Cruising the Telemark Canal

Take a day to explore Norway's beautiful Telemark Canal, which runs between the towns of Skien and Dalen. A historic boat ride will let you experience the peaceful and tranquil beauty of the canal and the surrounding landscape while you make your way through narrow channels and large lakes. Learn about the development and historic significance of the canal, one of Norway's longest waterways.
Scenery of Southern Norway
You will visit Gaustatoppen, the Hardangervidda National Park and the Hardangerfjord. Discover a beautiful landscape shaped by ice, water and weather with small lakes, rock fields, deep valleys and fantastic fjord views.
Along the coast, you will find a rugged fjord coastline, lined by waterfalls and high mountains reflecting in the glittering calm waters. The Hardanger route is one of Norway’s eighteen National Tourist Routes, taking you along fantastic fjord, sea and mountain scenery.

Outdoor Adventures

From hiking on Gaustatoppen Mountain, biking and cycling in the Hardangervidda National Park to waterbased family-fun activities along the Hardangerfjord, Norway will welcome you with a wide choice of outdoor adventures with something to suit every age and level.
