SICILY ADVENTURE WEEK

DAY 1 - WELCOME TO SICILY

Arrive to Sicily and transfer to your accommodation in Taormina. You have the rest of the day at leisure to explore the old city. Overnight in Taormina.

DAY 2 – SEA KAYAING AT TAORMINA  (B, L)

Spend the morning in the beautiful old Greco-Roman town of Taormina, set on the foot of Etna on the coast. Stroll through the ancient alleys before you head down to the coast to enjoy a kayaking trip between the big rocks created by an old submarine eruption around the Islola Bella. Delicious, freshly prepared seafood is awaiting you for lunch in a local restaurant. Overnight in Taormina.

DAY 3 - ETNA SUNSET HIKING (B, D)

Today you will explore the Northern area of the Etna National Park with its amazing scenery of large woods and volcanic formations like lava caves and grottoes. Enjoy a real Sicilian BBQ on the mountain in the evening before settling for the night. Overnight in the Etna area.

DAY 4 - BODY RAFTING AT THE ALCANTARA GORGE (B)

The Alcantara River is one of the few rivers on Sicily that runs all year round and has carved its path into the basalt over a period of several thousands of years. Enjoy a few hours of canyoning along the gorge, jumping off the rocks into the cold, crystal-clear waters and floating in the rivers rapids between the 24m high basalt walls. Overnight in the Etna area.

DAY 5 - BIG GAME FISHING (B)

Today will take you out to the open waters along the Eastern coast for a day of big game fishing in one of the best fishing areas in Italy and the Mediterranean. Swordfish, Tuna, Amberjacks and many more await you in the wildest parts off the mainland with great crystal clear waters and endless opportunities. Overnight in Syracuse.

DAY 6 - SYRACUSE (B, L)

Your local guide will take you through the historic streets of Syracuse, notable for its rich Roman and Greek history. Visit the historic center and the cave necropolis of Pantalica, the city's two UNESCO World Heritage sites, before enjoying a traditional street food lunch at the food market. Overnight in Syracuse.

DAY 7 - DEPARTURE (B)

Transfer to the airport and departure.
