TOUR DETAILS

DAY 2 – LYSEFJORDEN - KJERAG (B)

You will have an early start today to beat the crowds for a scenic hike to the iconic Kjerag Mountain. Take in the stunning scenery while relaxing over morning coffee on a cruise on the Lysefjord before making your way up to Kjerag, the highest peak in the Lysefjord. You will bridge approx. 800m on your way on this relatively demanding hike and will be rewarded with fantastic panoramic views over the peaceful Lysefjord. Overnight in Stavanger.

DAY 3 - PREIKESTOLEN - RYFYLKE - SULDAL (B)

Today you will hike to one of the most spectacular viewing points in the world - Preikestolen or "the Pulpit Rock", rising 604m above the Lysefjord. This solid rock block on the top overlooking the fjord was formed during the last ice age around 10,000 years ago and you can enjoy great views over the fjord and the area from the natural platform. Continue through the beautiful Ryfylke region along the discovery route. Overnight in the Suldal region.

DAY 4 - CYCLING IN ROLDAL - FOLGEFONNA (B)

The Roldal valley between the Langfjella Mountains and the Hardangervidda Mountain plateau is characterized by a dramatic and varied landscape formed by water and ice. Today, you will experience the beautiful scenery by bike - from the highest mountain to the mighty Langfoss waterfall dropping into the fjord. You will follow along the old roads as you will cycle down to the fjord in the spectacular alpine scenery. Overnight in the Folgefonna area.

DAY 5 - THE FOUR WATERFALLS OF THE HUSEDALEN VALLEY (B)

The trail through the Husedalen Valley is known to be one of the most beautiful hikes in Norway. Starting from Kinsarvik, you will discover four stunning waterfalls along the beautiful route taking you along the mountain river through forests and over rocky terrain all the way up to the Hardangervidda mountain plateau, the highest mountain plateau in Northern Europe. Overnight in the Folgefonna area.

DAY 6 - BLUE ICE HIKE ON JUKLAVASS GLACIER (B)

A special adventure awaits you today at the coastal Juklavass Glacier at the Northern end of the Folgefanna National Park. You will be equipped with crampons, ropes and an ice axe to go on an amazing journey on the ancient ice, dating back to more than 1,000 years ago. Discover caves and crevasses while enjoying the views on the Northern sea and the Rosendal Alpes from the middle of the glacier. Overnight in the Folgefonna area.

DAY 7 - TROLLTUNGA (B, D)

Embark on one of Norway's most scenic hikes today as you will make your way up to the spectacular Trolltunga, a rock formation sitting 1,100m above sea level above the Ringedalsvatnet lake. You will get to enjoy both sunset and and sunrise on this hike as you will settle down at a campsite at Trolltunga for the night to have enough time to discover all the beautiful spots in the area and to enjoy the fantastic view over the majestic valley once the crowds have left. Enjoy a traditional Norwegian dinner prepared at the campsite while watching the sun setting over the lake. Overnight at Trolltunga campsite.
