TOUR DETAILS

DAY 1 - WELCOME TO IRELAND

Cead Mile Failte - a hundred thousands welcomes. Transfer to West Cork, where you will spend the first couple of nights around the beautiful Bantry Bay, known for its Mediterranean vegetation and delicious seafood. Overnight in the Bantry area. 

DAY 2 - HIKING ON THE SHEEPS HEAD WAY (B, L)

The stunning Sheeps Head peninsula lays between Bantry and Dunmanus Bay and is part of the Wild Atlantic Way running along the Western coast of Ireland. Todays private guided hiking tour will take you along renowned coastlines, idyllic views and hidden gems on this peaceful and unspoiled peninsula. Overnight in the Bantry area. 

DAY 3 - CYCLING AROUND THE BEARA PENINSULA (B, L)

You are in for another day of stunning scenery as a cycling tour will take you to the most beautiful corners of the Beara peninsula. Your tour will take you from the small fishing town of Castletownbere out to Dursey Sound along stunning views over the coast and Black Ball Head before continuing through the charming village of Allihies and along the beautiful  Ballydonegan Bay and Kenmare Bay. Overnight in the Killarney National Park area.

DAY 4 - STUNNING KILLARNEY NATIONAL PARK (B)

Killarney National Park is home to the highest mountains of Ireland and its foot nestle on the beautiful Lakes of Killarney.  A guided hiking tour will take you through the stunning landscape made of mountains, lakes, forests and waterfalls as you will hike from the beautiful Torc Waterfall up to the iconic Ladies View offering some of the best views over the Upper Lakes before descending to Lord Brandon's Cottage and travelling to Killarney by boat taking in the stunning views of the National Park from a different perspective. Enjoy some free time in Killarney. Overnight in the Killarney National Park area.

DAY 5 - SEA KAYAKING AT KENMARE BAY (B)

Enjoy the morning at your own pace to relax at your hotel or stroll through the bustling streets of Kenmare or Killarney. In the afternoon, you will head off to explore some hidden places in the Kenmare Bay that can only be reached by kayak. Meet the local seal colony and other wildlife while quietly moving through the calm waters and soaking up the breath-taking panoramic views of the Beara and Iveragh peninsulas. Overnight in the Killarney National Park area.

DAY 6 - HIDDEN GEMS ON THE RING OF KERRY (B, L)

Often named one of the finest ring roads in Europe, a visit to Ireland is simply not complete without the Ring of Kerry. Discover picturesque villages and historic artefacts as you travel along a rugged coastline, golden sandy beaches and spectacular mountain ranges. Enjoy a tasty treat and learn about the art of traditional fine chocolate making at a small local chocolate factory before continuing to Dingle town. Overnight in Dingle town.

DAY 7 - THE WESTERN END OF EUROPE (B)

You will discover the dramatic beauty at the end of Europe today as your tour will take you around Slea Head, the most Western point  of Ireland and Europe. You will truly enjoy the beautiful drive and  fantastic views over the coastline and offshore islands. A local skipper will take you on an eco boat tour around the Blasket Islands off the Dingle coast. Learn more about the islands history and traditions and spot some of the local wildlife, including whales, dolphins and nesting seabirds over the summer months while enjoying the stunning panoramic views of Slea Head and the deserted islands. Overnight in Dingle town.

DAY 8 - HIKING THE DINGLE PENINSULA - DINGLE WHISKEY (B)

Enjoy more of the breath-taking scenery of the peninsula on a guided hiking tour on the far Western end of the Dingle peninsula, taking you along beautiful headlands, peninsulas, secluded coves and small historical sites. A visit to the Dingle Whiskey Distillery will give you an introduction into Irish Whiskey and the young local artisan distillery before sampling some of the unique matured whiskies at a tutored tasting. Free time in Dingle for the rest of the afternoon. Overnight in Dingle town.

DAY 9 - DEPARTURE

Transfer to the airport and departure
