Stunning landscapes, sagas, tales and mythology in the West of Iceland.

Iceland's stunning scenery made from fire and ice with fire-spitting volcanoes, glittering glaciers and magical waterfalls will inspire the adventurer in every child. The mythical characters, sagas and ancient tales of Iceland will further fuel children's imagination when visiting the magical island set on the rift between the North-American and European continent.
It seems like the unique Icelandic landscape was created for any kind of outdoor adventure - if you are looking for soft family-friendly activities like walking, kayaking or cycling, thrill seeking adventures like wild-water rafting or snow-mobile rides or once-in-a-lifetime experiences like snorkeling between continents, descending into the inside of a volcano or chasing the Northern lights over a glacial ice-cap, be sure that Iceland holds all this for you. Some outdoor adventures are more suitable for older kids from 10 years plus, but the wide range of family friendly attractions, wildlife experience, pools and farms all around Iceland make up for this and we make sure to tailor every tour to the age of the small adventurers.
The ring-road around Iceland is accessible all year round, making it possible that many of the outdoor activities can be enjoyed anytime, plus traveling over the winter months comes with the bonus of the possible sight of the Northern lights and less crowded attractions.
As Icelanders love to travel with their family, accommodations all around Iceland are well prepared for families and small visitors and restaurants offer kids friendly menus or smaller portions.
